The Ridgeline Night Operator Course provides students best practices for the employment of Night Vision and White Light inside the Rifleman’s Area of Responsibility (0-300m). A heavy emphasis will be placed on engagements inside of 50y.
1. Graduates of this course will be able to make immediate incapacitation shots from 0-100 yards with a 99% hit probability (day or night and from the prone position).
2. Graduates of this course will be able to make non-instantaneous incapacitation shots from 0-300 yards with a 90% hit probability (day or night and from any position).
3. Graduates of this course will be able to successfully pass a known qualification course of fire with an 80% hit probability (day or night)
Pre Requisites: Students MUST have successfully completed Advanced Pistol and Carbine training prior to this course. Students should be able to perform the following BEFORE arrival:
Pistol:
-80+ Score NRA B8 (25y, Standing Freestyle, Slow Fire)
-Sub 3.0 sec Draw from Holster (A-Zone Hit, 7y)
-Sub 4.0 sec Slide Lock Reload (A-Zone Hit, 7y)
Carbine:
-90+ Score NRA B8 (100y, Prone, Slow Fire)
-Sub 1.0 sec Presentation (A-Zone Hit, 7y)
-Sub 4.0 sec Bolt Lock Reload (A-Zone Hit, 7y)
-Sub 4.0 sec Rifle/Pistol Transition (A-Zone Hit, 7y)
